Adoptable Animals
JACC tries hard to include as much information as possible about each animal in their bio, including likes and dislikes as well as the type of home they would fit into. Feel free to call us for more information or stop by and meet the animals in person.
It is strongly encouraged to have a meet and greet, prior to adoption, with all family members and current dogs to ensure that there are no personality conflicts.
We take in multiple animals a week so every animal in our facility isn't pictured here- only the ones that are ready to go to their new home.
Animals that are on stray hold or do not have a known owner are listed under the Unclaimed Animals section in the left tab.
Adoption Fees
The adoption fee is $120 for dogs and $80 for cats. This fee includes the animal's spay/neuter, deworming, all age-appropriate vaccines, blood testing for heartworms/feline leukemia/FIV, wellness exam, and treatment for any existing conditions.
JACC occasionally lowers or waives an adoption fee based on a number of factors including age, overall health, or special medical/physical needs. This decision is at the discretion of the director and is not available for healthy or uncompromised animals unless otherwise noted.
What To Bring
If you are planning to adopt an animal please bring transportation or handling equipment for that animal (leash or cat carrier) so they can be safely moved from the building to your vehicle and then from your vehicle to your home.
Please bring identification as we do require a license or ID number on our adoption application. You must be 21 years old to adopt unless there are extenuating circumstances.
