MISSION

The mission of the Jackson Street Department is to provide a safe network of streets, avenues, and alleys throughout the City. We intend to do this by responding promptly and courteously to citizens' requests and concerns call Street Department at (731) 425-8541.

HOURS

Normal Hours of Service:

6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

After Hours, Weekends or Holidays:

180 Conalco Dr.

If the request for service is an emergency, please call 911. We provide 24/7 response to emergency calls. These calls are normally received by Central Dispatch, and they notify our on-call personnel for emergency response.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our specific responsibilities include pothole repair; cleaning, repairing and paving alleys; minor street resurfacing; snow and ice removal; mowing city right-of-ways and specific sections of the 45 Bypass and Interstate 40; and providing a safe and handicap accessible sidewalk system throughout our City.
