Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Tennessee at Martin

Among Many Contributions to West Tennessee: Wallace moved to Jackson upon graduation from college. She became a member of the Jackson Cotillion Club where she served as Horse Show Chairman, Treasurer, and President. She later became a member of the Jackson Service League where she was Treasurer, New Member Coordinator, and President. She also served on the Board of the Cerebral Palsy Center for several years. She was an advocate case worker for the Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center. Wallace worked twenty years as an Executive Account Representative with a top legal reference material corporation where she received the Honors Club award, Presidents Club award, top 10%, and the top ten in the country. She served the University School of Jackson as President and Fund-Raising Chairman for the Academic Support Group. She was a board member for the Aspell Recovery Center.

Awards, Community Leadership: She is the winner of the 2022 Dancing with the Stars fundraiser to benefit the Star Center, Inc. She is the city liaison board member for Jackson County Library, The Jackson Symphony League, and the Industrial Development Board. She is a Board member for the Jackson City Planning Commission, The City Board of Zoning Appeals, the Zoning Commission, and The Jackson-Madison County Historic Zoning Commission. She currently is a Board Member of the Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. She is a Board Member and has served as Secretary for Hands Up! Preschool. She was the 2000-2021 and 2022 Chairman of the West Tennessee American Heart Association, GoRed. She was the Inaugural Chairman of the West Tennessee Women of Impact for the American Heart Association in 2020. She was and is the Co-Chairman for Women of Impact for 2021, 2022-2023, and will serve as the 2023-2024 Chairman for Women of Impact. She is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Jackson and is a member of the Leadership Jackson Alumni Association. She is a member of the Jackson Symphony League. She was on the 2022 Bicentennial Commission Board for the Madison County and the City of Jackson.

She was recognized by the City of Jackson for Women in Leadership in 2020. In 2020 she was in the inaugural class of City of Jackson’s Most Influential Women. She was a Sterling Award recipient for 2023, The 20 Most Influential Women in West Tennessee from the BPW, Business and Professional Women/TN. She is a member of and is the President for one of Jackson’s Garden Clubs for the 2023-2024 term. Marda is on the Executive Committee for the Madison County Republican Party.

She has been married to her husband Bryan for 36 years and they have two children, Tyler and Will.
