This new digital platform provides suppliers with centralized, real-time access to all city procurement opportunities.
"Modernizing our procurement process is a vital step in making Jackson more business-friendly," said Mayor Scott Conger. By partnering with Beacon Bid, we are opening the doors wider for local small businesses and contractors to work with the City, ensuring our taxpayer dollars are invested through a fair, competitive, and highly accessible system."
In a commitment to making city business more accessible, the City of Jackson is offering these tools to the vendor community at no cost. Suppliers can now manage their interactions with the city through a single, user-friendly portal.
Through the Beacon Bid platform, suppliers can:
- Receive Instant Alerts: Subscribe for free to receive agency-specific notifications tailored to their industry.
- Simplify Search: Easily browse through both open and closed solicitations.
- Track Updates: Follow specific projects by clicking the “Get on Interest List” button to receive automatic updates.
- Access Documents: Download full solicitation packages and addenda instantly upon joining a solicitation’s interest list.
