The Jackson Animal Care Center is a managed intake municipal shelter that works with Animal Control to make Jackson a great place for pets and their humans. We accept owner surrenders by appointment as space is available, and we receive all Animal Control intakes. Since we are taxpayer funded, we only accept animals from inside the city limits of Jackson, TN (proof of address is required). JACC depends heavily on community involvement and rescue placement partners to make our adoption goals sustainable.
